When Trent was approach to compose a song for a TV police drama called ‘It’s Dark Outside’, she teamed up with Tony Hatch to compose ‘Where Are You Now’. This would be the first of a number of collaborations between Trent and Hatch. Trent recorded the song just before travelling to South Africa for a 3 month tour. The song would knock The Beatles’ ‘Ticket To Ride’ off the top spot on the UK charts but was dethroned a week later by Sandie Shaw’s ‘Long Live Love’.
