Full name: Bruce Cameron Millar
Millar was born in Bulawayo in what was then Southern Rhodesia (later to become Rhodesia and then Zimbabwe). He would study at Bristol University in England and at the Old Vic Theatre in Bristol. He would move to South Africa in 1970 where he was primarily known as an actor, playing parts in the stage productions of ‘Godspell’ and ‘Joseph & The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat’ amongst others. Alongside his acting career he would also record an album called ‘Children Of The Rain’ (this was also released under the title ‘I Won’t Give Up’). He would star in a few films including a part in the 1982 film ‘Safari 3000’ which stared David Carradine (who had played Shane in the TV series of the same name) and Stockard Channing (who played Rizzo in the film ‘Grease’). In 1991 he joined SAfm as a drama producer and presenter.
