OSMOSIS (SA)

Very little information available on this act. Their hit, ‘She (Didn’t Remember My Name)’ was noted in Billboard magazine’s international section as being the first record produced by a female producer in South Africa (Audrey Smith who co-produced it with Werner Krupski). The B-side of the South African pressing of the single, ‘Dreamy River’, is credited to Bernie Brown, but the pressings in other countries show the artist as Osmosis. They would release a second single, ‘Rock And Roll Band’, again produced by Werner Krupski & Audrey Smith. This has ‘Another Girl’ as the b-side. This was written by ‘Kruger’ which could possibly be record producer Kevin Kruger. ‘She (Didn’t Remember My Name)’ would be a number 2 hit in Australia for the band.
