The Outlet were a studio project put together by Peter Vee and producer Clive Calder. The line up would also include Neil Herbert and Robert Schroder, who was better known for producing and writing hits. Calder would produce artists such as Dickie Loader, Richard Jon Smith and Jonathan Butler while Vee would see a solo career, hits as a member of Buffalo and would also produce acts such as Lionel Petersen and Alan Garrity. Other members of The Outlet were Greg Brown (who would be in the band The Attraction), Howie Jones (who was also in The Attraction as well as being in Dickie Loader’s Blue Jeans). Moose Forer (who was in Group 66, Peanut Butter Conspiracy and Suck), and Ivor Black played on some of their sessions.
