‘Crocodile Rock’ was inspired by the song ‘Eagle Rock’ by Australian band Daddy Cool. It was one of the biggest selling singles in Australia in the early 70’s, spending a record (at the time) 10 weeks at 1 there. Elton John would come across the track while touring down under in 1972.
