The song was used in the 1968 film ‘The Thomas Crown Affair’ and would win the Oscar for Best Original Song. When the film was remade in 1999, Sting would sing the song for that soundtrack. Dusty Springfield would see her 1969 cover go to 31 in the US and 40 in Australia while Jose Feliciano’s cover that same year would get to 11 in The Netherlands.
