Richard recorded the song in Nashville, Tennessee when he was visiting there. It would feature The Jordinaires on backing vocals and instrumentation. The Jordinaires would work quite a lot with Elvis Presley. It would spend 3 weeks at 2 in the UK stuck behind The Beatles’ ‘Daytripper/We Can Work It Out’.
