The song was the 3rd to manage a biggest climber award 3 weeks running. No song managed a 4th week running. A total of 11 songs would manage 3 weeks running with a biggest climber and of these, ‘Thank You For The Music’ would have the lowest total for number of positions climbed over the 3 weeks (12 in this case). It was released in most territories as a double a-sided single with ‘Eagle’ being on the other side. It was not a global release and would only get a release as a single in the UK and Ireland in 1983. In September 2021 it was listed as the 20th biggest selling Abba single in the UK.
