The song was first recorded by Kerry Delius, who co-wrote it with George Sanders. That version failed to have an impact anywhere. Dean’s version added the Zulu chart to the song which can be heard in the intro and at various other times throughout. There was another mix of the track known as the Indian Summer Mix. It would the 2nd of 18 hits to chart that was produced by the production team of Stock, Aitken & Waterman and it would rank 5th out of those 18 for top 30 points.
